Reinforced Concrete Beams Without Shear Reinforcement Using Fiber Reinforced Concrete and Alkali-Activated Material

Abstract Concrete, which is based on the use of Portland cement as a binder, often becomes construction material in industry. Concrete itself, however, exists number modifications that are intended for specific applications. Especially with regard to development materials engineering, variants were created, include, example, fiber reinforced concrete improved tensile properties and alkaline-activated composite, produces less CO 2 emissions. The aim presented article verify concept using combination application beams without shear reinforcement. Components experimental program static load tests, evaluated detail formation propagation cracks. Laboratory tests also part program, focus detailed description possibility technological solution.
